The Mission of the Prowler Rink Rat Program

To encourage the kids to play hockey outside of their scheduled practices.  This could be at the outdoor rink, stickhandling in garage or basement, shooting pucks, etc. 

Coaches of each team will have forms to give to all parents at the parent/coach meeting at the beginning of the season or you can print off the copy below.  Parents need to be in charge of logging time and activity.  Coaches will stress the importance of playing on your own. Completed forms should be turned into your kid's coach.

Scheduled practices and games do not count.

1 Hour of Open Hockey will count as 15min towards the Rink Rat goals. We expect kids to take advantage of Open Hockey with or without the Rink Rat program in existence.

Wednesday Morning Power Skating will count as the full hour towards the program.  Power skating starts Nov 17th.

This is for Mite/8U and older.

The time line will run from October through February. There will be two tiers of goals to achieve.

45+ hours to get a TRF Rink Rat T-shirt and name on the website

65+ hours to get their name on the wall at the Old Arena plus the t-shirt and name on the website.
